So there was this party tonight at one of the guys from a national fraternities and it was in the middle of no where. I get this call at midnight from a friend asking me to come pick her up since she was uncomfortable with the drinking and upperclassmen hitting on her. I finally get her at like 1am and really pissed since one of my ex friends and her friends refused to leave the party just because she was only thinking of herself. She could have asked someone to take our friend back to campus and came back. If I hadn't been awake the poor girl would have been stranded there. When I confront her friend, she tells me it wasn't up to her to find the girl a ride home. Talk about selfish. it made me so angry. I mean how dare you invite the girl to come along and not give a shit if she makes it back to campus safely? Or if she felt uncomfortable? What kind of person does that make you? She uses people and then when she's done she dumps them aside. But I'm so much smarted than that. I've got a few years ahead of these bright eyed naive freshman.
It just shows how these young freshmen think. The other Greeks sometimes give the rest of us a bad name. They know who they are. Then they wonder why people accuse sororities and fraternities of binge drinking and wild out of control party.
They act as if partying is everything. I really feel sorry for them. What did you come o school for? Cause I know for damn sure I came to get an education. I drink sometimes but I have limits to when and who I drink with. It is so sad. But like I told my sister, they will just have to learn the hard way and I'll feel sorry for them when they do
